BH Renovations in Muskegon is owned and managed by Ben Housh, a West Michigan native who has been a construction industry professional for over 20 years. He has worked with many companies and is thoroughly experienced in every aspect of construction, renovation, and remodeling, as well as the complete design process. 

Ben started BH Renovations in 2021 because he realized that while there were many construction companies in Michigan, there was a real need for a construction company that provided personalized building services with an emphasis on quality materials, precision workmanship, and clear customer communication. He observed that too many problems were the result of a lack of communication with customers who didn’t understand all the aspects of their construction project and process. These misunderstandings often contributed to the customer’s disappointed expectations regarding the timeline or completion date.

Ben works with clients on a personal and individualized basis. He thoroughly explores the specific design aesthetic the client prefers, as well as identifying the particular features and functionality the client is expecting when the project is completed. He outlines the specific phases of the project and provides a reasonable and realistic timeline for the process. During the construction phase, Ben employs skilled, experienced contractors who understand the vision for the project and can contribute the quality craftsmanship he requires to ensure his client’s complete satisfaction.

BH Renovations has received more than a dozen awards for remodeling excellence as well as for his charitable contributions to the community, including donating his time and materials to build a complete, handicapped-accessible deck for a paralyzed military veteran. While happy about the awards, Ben says that they’re not as important to him as doing excellent work for his clients. Their satisfaction is the ultimate award.
